Recruitment and Assessment Officer
We are excited to be recruiting a Recruitment and Assessment Officer to work on the Researchers in Schools programme. The Brilliant Club is in the second year of its new strategy, The Path to Outcomes, in which we have committed to delivering consistent and reliable outcomes for our pupils. This includes a pledge to support 6,500 pupils from under-represented backgrounds to progress to highly-selective universities by 2021.
As a key member of the Researchers in Schools Team, you will play an important part in helping to deliver this strategy by assisting in the recruitment and placement of PhD graduates. This includes advertising and marketing the programme to target PhD graduates, taking responsibility for the initial stages of candidate assessment and guiding successful candidates through the rest of the recruitment and onboarding process.
The role requires an organised and driven candidate with a desire to work in education recruitment. They will play a role in organising advertising, events and publicity for the programme, driving applications and managing the process of assessing these, before working with internal and external stakeholders to prepare candidates for assessment centre.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication, organisation and relationship management skills developed through success in previous roles. They will demonstrate a desire to find new innovative ways of advertising the programme, as well as a commitment to supporting candidates throughout the assessment and onboarding process, preparing them to begin the programme in the new academic year.
